This bill is viewed, even within Israel, as unethical and racist, as it has been designed to be applied only to Palestinians. It includes provisions for mandatory death sentences to be applied to certain crimes for which Palestinians can be found guilty in military courts. The adoption of this legislation, gleefully celebrated by zionist politicians, is a continuation of the Israeli state’s genocidal nature and supremacist ideology, and is but a part of the ongoing genocide being perpetrated by Israel against Palestinians.
